The 3 Heavenly Gates (三天门)

When walking up the old pilgrimage path at Mount Wudang to the golden summit (Jin Ding, 金顶), which corresponds to the Bai Hui point (百会) in the human body, there are two main ways for the pilgrim to ascend: one is the Yin path (Ren Mai, 任脉), and the other is the Yang path (Du Mai, 督脉). Each station along these paths corresponds to energy points in the human body.

Walking up the Yang path, the pilgrim will encounter three significant points known as the Heavenly Gates. These gates are crucial in the internal practices for opening the energy channels, especially along the Yang path (督脉 DU MAI - Governing Meridian).

In this episode, Ismet Himmet explains the significance of the first gate and introduces methods of how to open it!
